Rain, rain go away…
Quite frankly, it’s disgusting outside. Yesterday brought us some light snow in Richmond, VA. And today we’re gifted with freezing rain. Together the combination brings forth some icy road conditions, which is perfect for someone like me who want’s to slip and slide all the way up rt-95 later this morning. UGH!
I hate driving in the rain and really don’t look forward to the drive. However, I DO look forward to the Massage Envy facial that will be waiting for me once I get there. Yes, I am booked to review one of their facials today at 1pm. Prayers up, I’ll make it there safely and ready for these neccessary extractions.
In the meantime, I’m brewing a cup of my most favorite coffee, MontaVida, which will give me a little moment of bliss in the AM.
And yes, I said that MontaVida is my favorite coffee, not Starbucks. Which may be surprising to some since I am a proud Starbucks Gold Card member!
I just got turned onto MontaVida a few weeks ago. A friend of mine introduced me to it and I have been hooked ever since. Apparently, MontaVida coffee was brewed with MCT oil and Ramon seeds which assists in weight loss and helps to keep calm during the day. I haven’t noticed much weight loss since drinking the coffee. But I HAVE noticed some other amazing benefits.
First off, I do not get the runs and bubble guts that I get when I drink more than enough cups in the morning. (And I know darn well that I’m not the only person who has this issue. So I’m not ashamed to say that it can be a problem.)
Secondly, I don’t get coffee migraines. At all. I’m a coffee drinker. But usually I can only drink 2 cups a day because of the migraines that caffeine sometimes gives me. They’re so bad that they often last for an entire day. Couple that with the nasty issue mentioned above and I’m set up for a perfect catastrophe.
And lastly, as for keeping calm, I don’t get caffeine shakes anymore, which is totally annoying. I hate shaking like I’m some sort of psych patient when I drink too much caffeine. Feels like I’m going through some sort of withdraws. And I don’t even get a high from it.
Needless to day, this was enough for me to drink MontaVida everyday. And it’s great that I can drink it ALL day…everyday. Plus, it tastes good and mixes well with my creamers. So that alone is a plus.
Anyway, try some if you can and let me know what you think.
